18x9 PCD 114.3 +25
18x10 PCD114.3 +25

I know 18" is fine, I know 114.3 is fine but is the with and offset okay?

You might have some rubbing.  They will come out pretty far.  Have a look back at Bens (Initial D\'s) recent photos as his are similar size, and he does have some rubbing.

Cheers

Agree, you need more offset! Something like 40 or 50 should be your goal, nearer 50 with a 10 inch rear rim.

but with the addition of some spacers (10-15mm) this would take the offset to an acceptable non rubbing space. Is that right?

If its moving it out with spacers then you may need to make some custom spacers so the ride quality is still there. I had 5mm on my fto after i fit my brake kit and it was wobbling over 70mph ! stuck 3mm on and it was fine. 10 or 15mm is alot of specer !

Spacer makes the wheels come out further.

EG a +20 offset with a 15mm spacer will be a +5mm offset.

In this case, the wheels are already sticking out too far so adding a spacer would make it worse.

I thought that would be the case. + to me means - if you know what I mean. Probably not.

Shame as the whels were very very nice.

I got 9J 18 +18 fronts and 10J 18 +22 rear and they stick out a bit, ideally I\'d need the arches flarred or a wide body to accomodate them for harsh handling on a track.

Although my suspension is very solid now and I have just over half an inch clearance between the tire and the arches - which is fine for fast road cornering. (Just mustn\'t hit any bumps whilst cornering)! lol!!:p
