I had my old 92FD on a classic policy with AON but they said it would no longer be a classic if I modified the engine.  So for a single I just assumed it would be a big no no....  Do you know of someone who will insure a single turbo 93FD as a classic Gman ??

I had mine on a classic with Sureterm direct, they are cheap but i don\'t think they know much about the RX7.

Try Houghton Insurance, if you have another car they are very competitive.

Never went single on the FD so i am not sure how they will react.

Veilside,  Yeah I just had a quote from them, a ballpark figure of £1600 - £1700 for a single turbo with lots of mods.  I\'m an old git too now, 29 with full no claims but 3 points (well, 6 if you go back to 2000), which I didn\'t think was too bad!

Haven\'t bothered phoning any more as like you said, it just turns out to be a waste of time.
