Just about finished my vacuum/coolant/waterinjection job, but for some reason my dump valve doesnt work, i forgot to take a piccy of how it was set out in the first place but when i accel hard and drop the clutch i get no whoosh noise, so dunno if its working or not.
lo dude (DAU)
please open your service manual and check where the valves gos in.
from the pic, you have mount your dump- valve on the wrong place (lol).... From the pic, you should have no power and you should see no boost, coz you have mount the BOV on the wrong place and the hose from the Y-pipe is directly connected to your air-filter. The boost from the turbo- charger will escape trough this pipe so you will never see any boost.
Solution:
move your BOV to the hose which is bellow the hose BOV is connected now. (see the pic)

Yeah, it looks like it should go in the other hose.. That is the hose that dumps the air back into the Filters from the Charge Relief Valve (at switchover).
The other hose (the correct one) dumps the waste boost air from the \'Y\' pipe during gear changes / lift off etc.

as above it looks like your have two bovs in the same line, take one out and put it in the othe 1" pipe closer to the inlet manifold. Have you not notice the low power.
