Painful, Fancy buying an FD without a Comp test then take it back to see if they have lost 5k?? Really??

4lt four stroke?? tbh they lost me when Mike was giggling like a school girl in a bone stock FD then the work of fantasy with the Buy/Sell section.

The Worse bit with out doubt!!! Two 3 Rotors and no audio of them on the track?? Seriously??

Regardless of if you liked the wheels and graphics, I thought overall it was excellent promotion for the Rotary and maybe a few less people will be scared of the engine now  :Thumbsup!

snakeskin !!!!!!! they have brought back the image of the FD being a chaved up car !!!!

plus the fake sale and rebuy has me fuming!!!!!!!!!!

Shaun makes a good observation, WGT green tag was on the keys before he test drove it!!!!!

Who would in the right mind buy back a car almost double the price... what load of crock

if it wasnt for the fake sale and snakeskin it would have been a decent promotion of the RX7, but alas that was ruined, the money for the graphics and painted wheels should have been spent on suspension.

this what really happened, WD looking for a stockish rx7 with a good engine, NIck offers his car to be used, they offer him free mods so they can use the car, the sale and rebuy did not happen in reality.

And if someone tries to convince me otherwise , I was not born yesterday :p

They changed there format to do that car and Chav\'d it to make it look like a Mcc D\'s racer, Good promotion of the Fd??? Not so sure, you can\'t have that amount of BS and not have some rub off on the car.

I just loved how they showed the basics of Buying an FD so you don\'t get your fingers Burnt like Compression test AFTER!! you get it home (in Mikes words) to see if you have lost 5k :)

Pip should have wrote a speech down or some thing because Edd had obviously slept since he spoke to him........4lt 4 stroke :)

And!! NO 3 ROTOR AUDIO!!!!!!

Set up or not the Buyers Guide should have been Accurate!!

Most buyers would be put off by the snakeskin not the engine. Shame as I was looking forward to them doing some decent mods, hope my insurance company wasn\'t watching and want to change my policy to a 4 litre

Just watched it, for me it was a really good promo for the rotary engine not once did they mention oil which was good as most people think they drink oil like fuel!

It was great that they got Pip on the show  it was clear that he had a lot of input to the show.

As for the big wheel debate that will be going on snake skin OMG not on a silver FD just spooled the whole look of the car.

Apart from that a good episode.

How it should`ve gone.
Mike buys a dead rx7 for £1500 in good condition but with water seal failure
Ed china tackles the rotary putting new seals in
Mike buys aload of aftermarket goodies, ed fits `em they sell it for £5k

Anyone know what compression meter they were using?   Looked a bit homebrew - maybe an early twisted rotors model?

I think they borrowed it off Pip

OK, just watched that episode.

I think that it was quite good episode. There were good promo, but also lots of bs.

I was laughing because Ed did all the hard work to get power out of the engine. Seems to me that Pip did it ;)

Btw, I kind of like those wheels. But not body graphics

I recorded it at the weekend and to be honest it\'s just typical wheeler dealers. Take a decent car then either go completely over the top with chavy not decent modifying or the other end of the scale saying it must be completely original and any extras are useless and rubbish. Only good thing is they explained the rotary engine and hopefully made people less scared of it, other than than that they managed to ruin a perfectly good rx7.

Sorry about the moaning but wheeler dealers really winds me up, there\'s been so many cars where they\'ve had the opportunity to do something decent instead they decide to go down the worst route possible.

Totally agree with this. They did nothing at all with the engine other than test its compression. That, the intercooler and rad change can be done on any engine. Apart from give a brief explanation on how the engine works there wasn\'t really anything other than saying wankel a lot.
As above I think they should of \'bought\' one with a blown engine and used the majority of the show to show how it all works and goes together. That would of been more fitting than wheels and graphic which, again, you can do on any car.
