Title: clutch pedal travel
Post by: B9 KLF on March 22, 2014, 03:11:51 PM
Occasionally the clutch pedal has more travel at the top which changes the bite point.

After a while it goes back to being quite firm at the top of the pedal.

It seems to be doing this more lately. The clutch is nothing fancy.

Any views on this guys - thanks

Keith

Check the adjustment screw behind the pedal. Is it loose ?

Sorry just spotted this one,

This could well be an indication that the master cylinder is dying (not the slave)

Thanks Guys.

Pedal itself seems ok. However i have been driving it every day to the station whilst my MX-6 was being sorted and the problem seems to have gone away for now, and, the car runs better when you use it!

Might just replace that master cylinder in the summer though.
