There should be a 3part spring ring / washer that holds the release bearing which sits through the pressure plate.  I did take a picture of mine when the engine was out couple of years ago so will dig out tomorrow.

Ok so gearbox came out today and this is what i have, with the current parts when i put my foot on the clutch with engine running and the pedal bounces back with a crunching/cluncking, the top three rings hold in the collar which the bearing fits into and the ring on the bottom right holds the bearing into the collar, with this i have alot of play which leads me to believe im using the wrong clip, any ideas?

Mine did not come with that small oem release bearing retaining clip.  instead it came with a 3 part spring washer which holds all these round springs + the release bearing in place and there was no play at all.

I have found these 2 pics which may help.

In the second picture the release bearing is attached to clutch cover by using that 3 part spring.  then you will have to put these lose washers back in and hold these in place by the last spring sitting lose.

i hope you get it sorted.:Thumbs-up

you should be able to buy these clips, springs etc from rhdjapan.com

I did put the clutch on the engine before dropping the engine in then just used a long screw driver and pushed the release bearing in place through gearbox viewing hole.
