Hiya fellow FC owners
Ive been after some cheap silicon top and bottom water hoses for my S5 FC and the prices are all over the place .. some are topping £70 for a set
So i went on a hunt to see what i can find or get made
I have found a company local to me that reckon they can make them for £20 ish for both of them
SOooooooooooooo , at that price im more than interested , so i was wondering if any one else wanted some ??
I might see how much they will sell the TMIC elbows for aswell ( they must be really cheap in real terms )
They have said that they can make them in any colour ( although i only asked for blue ! )
BUT there is a down side to all of this .. they reckon it could take 4-5 weeks to make them ( im assuming thats time to prob ship them in from somewhere else ! ) and i need to give them a sample of what i need copying
I was hoping for a few days turn around to be honest and i could have just lent them my hoses , but i dont fancy the car off the road for at amount of time
So does anyone have a top and bottom stock hose for sale and maybe the TMIC elbows
Or even for me just to borrow for 6 weeks ??
If you are interested in the items , just let me know and i will see if i can push the prices down aswell .. or if someone knows someone who can make these cheaper , then im happy to buy from someone else :)

If you have the stock hoses then i can email them and say that i have some and that i would like XX sets making ?
I know your the king of cheap but I must ask do you really want to be trusting your cooling system and therefore your engine to a set of hoses that are manufactured for less then £20 (manufacturing cost must be £15 tops that\'s £7.50 each) remember your cooling system is only ever as good as it\'s bleakest part.

OK they are made in India , but what isn\'t these days ( India , China etc.. )

Seems a bit of a slap in the face of Leyland Heritage in general. They may be a good company but they should be making the stuff in Leyland with a brand like that.
The Lead time comes from having to make an alloy former to wrap the silicon round and then cure.
You will probably find they comply with all the regs and actually make a very good product, just a shame its not made in the uk.
I\'ve bought a lot of autosiliconhose off ebay for the recent project (and plenty of jubilee clips !)

I dont want to spend a lot , hence me seeing if someone could actually make them ?
In the UK they are just sooo expensive to buy .. which i dont understand , they are cheap in the states and in AUS , but shipping is just a killer
Maybe its just the RX7 series , and cause they cant see 1000\'s of them , you pay a premium :(

I just thought... Might not be worth using mine as I chopped a chunk out of my top pipe to fit my water temp sensor adapter in.
