Hi
I am looking for a late spec FD3, must be low mileage or have a recent rebuild, standard car with no crazy body kits or giant spoilers, i was looking for my old rx7 with the plate A7RXR but it has vanished from the face of the earth, i have a budget of £10,000.00 so the car has to be good,
Thanks
Mike
do you have an email address mate?
Mir

Mine car on sale section,
You would not find a better FD
Have few potential buyers but nothing concrete, email me if you need any info, address is on the sale thread
I believe I know the owner of that no plate as well
Would love to know who has my old FD but it wont stop me buying a better one, do you have a link to the one you have up for sale?
Just seen the pics of your car, it looks pretty dam good, i am interested but how bullet proof is it with all the mods?
Chris
Where is the new era silver one?
Cheers

It\'s a very very nice car. I\'m the previous owner so can vouch for how clean it was when I had it. Al has spend a considerable amount of cash and elbow grease making it better..
I want it back but circumstances won\'t allow it 😡:reallymad
know the feeling, i have been trying to hunt down my old fd (A7RXR) for over a year and have hit a brick wall, one gets attached to a good thing, Al\'s car does look superb but i was looking for something more standard that i could drive every day or so, not sure if this one would do that.
Thanks again.
Hi- please email me charlie_pilkington@hotmail.com
Thanks
Here is the newera one

Almeida is prob the best on i have seen for sale for along time..
Hey Al
Did you have any joy with remembering who has the plate A7RXR?
Thanks
Mike
Hey budd
My mistake the guy I know have the plate letters other way around
Mike,
Did you sell it to another guy in scotland? I\'m sure that car is not far from me all though not in a good way..
Hey Chris
Would be brilliant to trace it down, as i am also thinking of a track project, that car had some really nice little bit and bobs on it, any ideas?
Cheers
Mike
I\'m sure i seen that many years ago driving about my area and someone told be they seen it sitting under covers looking very sorry for its self..
Was it white??
Chris
The last time i seen her was when i sold it to Hurley engineering, they sold it on from there, it was Silver with a veilside front end similar to the one you see on late spec Fds, it had Rx8 wheels and a mazda speed rear spoiler again similar to late spec Fds, was even gonna post a reward to find her as i actually brought her in from Japan in 94 before anyone else was really into imports, thanks for helping, cheers, Mike

i cant see why this doesnt tick all the boxes for you. Far superior than any standard rx you will find. Simple single turbo, no overcomplicated rats nest, better engine management, better cooling, better looks, wheels, better brakes etc....And a perfect car to transform into a track car should you want.... A rebuilt engine from a reputable builder and its a late spec car...YOU would be MAD not to buy this....
The owner is not a friend of mine but you can see he is a true enthusiast....
Nurburgrobs Type RS is spot on and you will get £4k change :)

Not everyone wants something modified though fella, for me Almeidas car is a perfect example of a well modified fd but the new era one is just perfect for a standard model with great wheels.

ordinarily id be inclined to agree. If it were a bigger turbo i could understand, but the gt35 is known for its good spool up times, so gives a similar punch to a good working set of twins.. The twin turbo although good at 14 years old on a 2000 spec car its really coming to the end of its life...rats nest pipes cracking etc...i just like the simplified nature of a single...The car is modified yes, but all in the right places...However if you could pick up a late spec for 6k then i\'d understand...ive seen 2 go through in the last 18 months at that price...ive not seen the newera one tbh...
This vendor, (Jurgen), or the car has nothing to do with me, but I just spotted it and so thought it might be of interest to the OP.
Looks like quite a nice 1999 Mazda RX7 Type RB 5 Speed Manual (http://jm-imports.co.uk/index.php/1999-mazda-rx7-type-rb-5-speed-manual/) with a recent rebuild.
Happy to help :Thumbsup!
One of the best twin turbo cars I have been in/mapped, with good proven compression results as well.
A true bargain.

shame about the :censored::censored::censored::censored:ty steering wheel , but I expect he would change it to a nice one for free at that price

Appreciate your comments. My car has nearly 25k put in to it and appreciate everyone is different. the newrra one has 65k miles on the clock and mine has 26k on the clocks with rebuilt engine with single set up.
But I am not in a rush to sell, the right buyer will come along and see what he/ she wants
Mike good luck with your hunt
Many people have although not to many lately due to the yen but it\'s value is on the rise so could be a good alternative again. Resale values in Britain haven\'t moved much though so you will always take the cost of import from your own pocket

Yes, buy mine!
