Title: Madaspeed Insurance ???
Post by: RX8-jai on August 03, 2004, 10:36:01 PM
Ok i was looking for a insurance quote online with chuchill and i type in all my  info. when i got the the car details there was 3 rx8 spec to select 1 was for the 230bhp second was the 192 then there was a mazdaspeed one.
Was just wondering is the a mazdaspeed version coming out or have the insurance company messed up.
Also i just notice on my log book that cylinda capacity is 2616cc does that mean 2x616 or is it messed up again. ??
yes im a confused guy

...which is logical enough, because they\'re 13xx cc with two power strokes per crank rev.

I don\'t know why insurance companies even bother with engine size now, because specific capacity varies so much between engines these days - plenty of 2 litre cars will kick the ass of a 5.7 Chevvy based beast every time! (And in fact quite often the difference between the family and the sporty version is just the state of tune of the SAME lump...)
