Title: Battery display on pfc reading low?
Post by: neil_jdmr on November 18, 2013, 05:46:01 PM
Just a quick one this if anyone has any ideas cause I still need to get into the footwell to test the pfc supply voltage. My pfc display is showing 2-3v lower on the commander so 10v battery and 12.4 on alternator when checked with a multi meter it\'s 13v battery and 14.6v alternator.

I checked a few different places like the fuse boxes and alternator etc but it certainly looks to be the pfc display that\'s reading low.

The ground for your ECU
I think the ground should be near the ECU in the passenger footwell.

If you got the correct readings everywhere else I would be suspecting a dodgy ground on the ECU, I may be wrong

This is now resolved and for future relevant searches or fault finding this turned out to be a no brainer.

Loose connection on the pfc ground was the problem.
