Rang them today and what a great bloke i spoke to. All mods declaired and power @ 480 bhp , 45 years old and a good postcode.
Sky Insurance this year £660 at only 400bhp as power went up last month.
Need2Insure on std policy £480
Need2Insure on modified classic policy £330 and you dont loose your ncd after 2 years.

When insuring for each new year don\'t forget as a full club member we can work with you to obtain a proper agreed valuation for your car, so in the event of something nasty you would have funds to replace your pride and joy.
With no agreement they will try and give you back the price of a spark plug,
Sadly I have seen many loose thousands because of having no agreement and never being able to replace their wonderful Rotary.

I don\'t think Need2Insure offer agreed value. Pretty sure they told me that when I got a quote off them last week

I should have said it includes £10.000 guaranteed payout and if required £85 for 4 or 5 track days, can\'t remember which.

Davy, can you remember who you spoke to when organising your quote? I got quoted with them and they were cheaper than Sky, but they did say no agreed value. Would like to follow up with them about it :)

His names Richard. He said guaranteed payout was no extra as long as a full list of mods, photos of the car and a letter of value from a reputable garage/club is supplied .
In parts the cars worth thousands more but 10k is a realistic price.

Thread revive! If I wanted to go about getting my car properly valued, could someone on here do it for me etc, or how would I go about doing it? I have an FC3S Turbo coupe and will be putting her on the road again in august, after a full rebuild/paint and an arm and 2 kidneys worth of other bits...!. Thanks,

I tired these guys for my 20B FD3 from a recommendation on here and got a very competitive price compared to Sky Insurance who also offered what I thought was a good price! Sky have done me proud before and I was a bit reluctant about Need 2 insure as I have not heard of them before.. Seems like they are doing a few FD'3 then.. Anyone had to claim and had any problems? all very well they might give good prices but do they pay out if a claim is ever needed?

Where you be located Lee ?? I'm at Dartford event Sunday 21st pm if your around... easier to talk face to face... I seem to like need 2 insure as they ( in my opinion ) told me straight unlike Sky , who in my opinion give me crap just for their commission.... Hopefully my car is properly insured Now.... Unfortunately you only find out how good they are when you may have to claim...... To Clive ...
