Title: Clutch Repair Kit
Post by: martin207sw on October 26, 2013, 03:08:17 PM
HI Folks,

just got a 1985 Mk1, but the clutch has gone.

Anyone know where I could get a clutch (master/slave) repair kit from??

Tried the local mazda dealer.

Also any pointers for good supply/stocks of parts would be appriciate as I feel I may need quite a few bits over the winter!!

Hey dude, maybe try posting over at rx7fb.com as those guys might know the whereabouts of bits to get you going again.

Cheers :Thumbs-up

Hello Martin and welcome to MRC, sorry the guy above gave you no welcome other than to get you onto another site, you will find people here that will happily try and help your new passion along the way.

Pop into your dealer with part numbers B312-41-52Z  for the master and FB01-49-470 for the slave and they should supply these parts without a problem.

Hope this helps

You say that the clutch has gone. Have you checked the clutch assembly ie pressure plate and disc?

Ask your local motor factor to check the Blueprint parts catalog for master and /or slave cylinder.

Also, you could try www.rockauto.com (http://www.rockauto.com) , www.blackdragonauto.com (http://www.blackdragonauto.com) and for more local help www.rx7fb.com (http://www.rx7fb.com)
