Title: Cutting Fibre Glass Seat?
Post by: boosted on October 22, 2013, 12:15:10 PM
I have a new fibre glass race seat and it requires some trimming to fit( negs of buying a narrow bodied Westfield).

Its smooth bum side and rough the other...the edges are smooth round for IVA purposes but ineed to cut this off......

I was thinking angle grinder with 1mm cutting disc in?

A air cut off saw will probably be best as you can keep the speed down, mask it up also along the cut line....... Above all else wear a mask fibreglass isn\'t nice in the lungs!
