Title: Boost exiting out of crv
Post by: neil_jdmr on September 13, 2013, 08:21:04 PM
Very rarely but admittedly a problem If I\'ve been through the gears to redline on occasion the next time the primary boost spills out out of the crv for a second. so then the charge control actuator pressure must build, shuts the gate properly and I\'m away again.

I\'ve changed the check valves for both the pressure and vacuum tanks and its still the same, next I\'m thinking the crv itself and the CC actuator/solenoid.

My issue is it only happens on rare occasions but known my luck it will just when I\'ve a 911 on my dish so looking at possible solutions now.

Any good ideas from more experienced peeps

the CRV is renoun for boost leaks when they get on a bit (need a bit of pressure to help seal properly), swap it and see how you go.
