So, my FD is stored in a standard size garage, which means all the other stuff has to hang off the walls.
This has worked successfully for 3 years until last night !!
Opened garage door and found one of the shelves had pulled off the wall and it and its contents had landed on the FD front wing, bonnet and mirror.
Wing has dents and paint damage, mirror and bonnet repairable.
The paint is a special mix Lambo pearl, so not easy to replicate.
Oh well, maybe another respray (http://www.mazdarotaryclub.com/forums/images/icons/icon9.gif)
Oh no!!! Makes sure you throw some petrol in them shelves and watch them
Burn! Evil bloody things harming your car
Fetch the shelves down to RS Chris we can all watch them burn then.......... how your paint shop booked busy I bet.
:(:(:( So sorry to see and hear this Chris. I, like many others, have loads of garage shelving and have worried about this happening. Luckily I have a bit more space in my garage and so recently took most of my wall shelves down and replaced them with "BigDug" floor mounted shelving to reduce the risk. Glad I did, as that could well have happened to me!
I hope you can get it sorted to the high standard you always strive to maintain.
Catch up with you ate RS10.
Oh Bugga!!! Sorry to hear/see this, my garage is exactly the same.. :2Confused
Oh dear not good, hope you get it sorted easily enough mate
Ouch, sad times Chris, very sorry to see this! :(
Hope you can get it fixed and quick! :)
Oh bugger, Hope you get it sorted out quickly and not so expensively !
Shaun
ouch that hurts, my garage is much the same and it\'s always in the back of my mind that it could happen at anytime.
Thanks guys for your support. Yup felt pretty bad when I found this, but it could have been worse !
So, this forces me towards another respray...but after I consider what to do about styling ! (http://www.mazdarotaryclub.com/forums/images/icons/icon12.gif)
So, I\'ll leave it as it is for the rest of this season, then off the road for winter and the modifications will start again.
Chris
So, handling circuit at RS10 it is then !
