After looking at Legnum VR4s, they do seem to be quite expensive to to run. However, we do still want a decently poweful car. One of my friends pointed out previously, there is this Caldina. Basically a Celica GT4 estate. 2.0 turbo instead of 2.5 twin turbo. Question is, is anyone nearby preston able to take a look for me and see if its worth buying or not?

Its much the same as rotarys, rust, crash damage, no strange noises. Basically you just figure out if you would buy it for the price they want for it.
I\'d have a look if I were a bit closer but it\'s a 80 mile round trip for me.

Its not urgent. It reallu is a case of if you happen to be in the area and stuck for something to do. I\'m waiting for someone to get back to me about a rather rare manual Mitsi Legnum VR4 and im looking at more economical choices (more economical than 2.5l V6 twin turbo that is).
