Had my final mapping session last night, thankfully she held together!! Thanks Jason, a job well done!
Power seems good, unfortunately couldn\'t get to the boost level that I was hoping for, ran out of flow from the turbo\'s!
It\'s a bit of a shame that some of the larger power RX7\'s arent involved, as all other makes and models are out in force.......again!
Hope to see a few of you up on Sunday to see myself and Tony running!
It looks like a fairly impressive turnout from some of the supras, skylines and evo\'s claiming iro 1000BHP!!!
:wave
Unfortunately because of a certain rotary specialist I will be missing my 2nd TOTB but will be ready for next season for sure.
What power are you running if they have run out of steam?
I have had a tow bar fitted on a veichle and may bring both RX\'s up to showcase specialist work that has been carried out, as so many people are asking how the cars are.
She won\'t see a dyno this side of totb, so its down to the butt dyno, which seems fair to middlin
Will have to see how the 1/4 turn out, unfortunately I am only running stock street so3\'s so it may have a less impressive launch.
They are the same tyres I ran last year with a 13.2 and stock twins turbo\'s and an un-ported engine. So am very keen to see what improvement I get after the last year of blood sweat and tears getting it to todays spec:rolleyes:
Also have a fairly harsh Drag diff in it, which doesn\'t like corners much so the handling circuit may prove challanging :p
As i overslept for JAE (needed to get up at 5:30am to make it a worthwhile day, woke up at 8:30am thinking nooooo! ) i am hopefully coming to watch the action. Anybody else coming from NW area ? Its a great drive down the A59 through blubberhouses !
Cya there (hopefully)
Shaun
If your running your twin non seq, you should be close to 10 sec. Its got to be better than the singles running at the mo.
Cant you put some decent rubber on?
The tuning fund is very depleted at the moment, will have to go for tyres next time
I recon the only way my car will be in the 10\'s on sunday is if we tether it to the back of a skyline:)
Be cheering for you regardless.
Best of luck to you Chris, hope you can get some good times :cool Will be supporting from the sidelines, although I have a few cars to cheer on this year :)
I managed to cancel my tyres otherwise I would have taken them down for you, might be worth asking in case anyone has R rated tyres kicking around they would let you borrow for the day?
What boost did you end up with? considered running a very small shot of nitrous to help?
I\'m still not speaking to my car for letting me down  it\'s just lucky I didn\'t have a box of matches with me when I last saw it
Unfortunately because of a certain rotary specialist I will be missing my 2nd TOTB but will be ready for next season for sure.
Sounds familiar!
Care to elaborate Alex? Condolencies anyways.....

Hello folks,
will not be attending TOTB3, have a wedding to attend and on nightshift sunday night so dont fancy waking at 6am to get there then falling asleep at work, so sorry chaps!!!!

Purple Dragon Rx7
Good luck Chris, hope all goes well for you.:) :)

Maybe one day!!!
We\'ll swap horror stories
They are very similar! I was wanting to settle the sad situation with not much agro but as each day passes that becomes harder. Very much like you did with Geoff. I did think about bringing my car to TOTB but as it is I am missing some stuff to even allow me to drive it!!
Well,here\'s a horror story! Chris was already to go to TOTB,then his engine went pop,3.30 this afternoon :( 4pm,we decide to rebuild it,2 broken apex seals on the rear rotor.9pm,all is well, and chris leaves for TOTB!Good news, wish him luck,he needs it! :)
What a great ending! You must have put in some real work to get it up and going so fast.
All the best to everyone running :)
Steve
Good work Tim :)
Good luck Chris ;)
Struth Tim will soon be starring in the next XMEN film as the hero superenginebuildingman

pmsl good work

Thought you were going too Si, you not bothering then??
no lethargy strikes!!!!!!

lol. Anyone know if it\'s going to be on sky eventually again? Do luv seeing all the big boys, well some, playing

Si
Yea i had a sunday league match today so didn\'t go either, first time played in 4 years on the big pitch result: won 4-2!!!!:D
that was great work by chris & tim, unfortunately Chris\' TOTB horror story gets worse, much worse, but i will let him elaborate. suffice to say I was the quickes Rotary powered car there. Well in fact i was the only Rotary Powered Car there. I managed a 12.5 again and 165 top end. The handling circuit i did twice, i didnt take it serioulsy though and fishtailed most of it. I managed 45 seconds even though i 180\'d it accross the line and side swiped the finsh line timing sensor accross the runway! I loved it and want to try dirfting now, with the cheap crap Khumo tyres i have on it will slide great. I think the only way i will get quicker is by putting sticky tyres on like the DJ01s.
Thanks to my lovelly wife, nicola, I have lots of pictures which i will post tomorrow as i have just got back after 4 hours in a noisy rex and i am knackered, but at least it still works.
Regards
Tony
NB, Nice to meet you Roberto, and many thanks to Gary... I hope you sort you car soon.
Look forward to seeing some pics! So who were the quickest overall? Any surprises? Shame almost every one of the rotary crowd was either not around, in dispute or in rebuild land! If it keeps on like this we\'ll never make a dent in the somewhat over inflated egos of the Skybus crowd (now I admit they are v good cars, but come on, I\'m sure we could come up with one or two flies in the ointment so to speak!) Well I\'m hoping the FC will be up to it by next year!
erm off top of head think CRD supra went 201. sumin mph in top speed sum evo probably won the handling & a skyline of a none rocket ron nature won overall. I hear there was a good flying car/fence incident...?
So anyone know if it will be on sky etc take it there were film crews there?
Si
The CRD Scooby had a supposed \'throttle sticking open\' incident as it came off the handling course and went straight into a fence. I missed the actual incident but someone said it went right up in the air. They needed to cut the fence to free the car.
Plenty of cameras there so expect it to appear in some Redline program at some stage......
Mart.
Yeah we saw that Scooby crash! bit of excitement lol
Took loads of piccies of the event and some video footage.
Here some pics of the CRD Supra with its mahoosive turbo!
And some girlies as well lol
turbo CRD

Si
PS yeah i heard the wheel dug in & it jumped bout 4\'high nicely onto fence, but still ran later on?
Any pics of that crash on other forums yet Si?

Likewise Tony, was good to see at least one FD running :)
no just had a quick gander round the scooby boards & have asked for sum nice imagery, looks like they duct taped the bonnet down which later flew off on a top speed run
