Title: fitting rear windscreen rubber
Post by: Bobfish on April 25, 2013, 02:45:27 PM
Hi guys,

I recently resprayed my car, I have the rear windscreen rubber (A new one) as I removed the old one to paint.

How do I fit it?

Is it just a case of running a small bead of tiger seal or similar in the groove between the windscreen and the tailgate and pushing the seal into place or is there some extra stuff that needs done?

We just fitted my rear window yesterday. But my window was off the car. So we wrapped the rubber around the window en then placed both at the same time.
I dont now if it works to fit it when the window is still in. But the rubber has a lip that goes under the window.
