Sorry if this is a repost, but I found it a very interesting watch.

MMMM, Not sure about this, imho he has this the wrong way around, he should be more worried about Exhaust-Inlet Dilution as there is more pressure in the Exhaust part of the stroke than the inlet at that stage, yes the Exhaust is open but the Hot exhaust gasses are still Expanding so i\'d guess he should be thinking more about exhaust gasses diluting the fuel/air than loosing compression from the Inlet stroke?? Slots are Bad when you add the sort of heat you get round the Plug holes in a Rotary, the holes are round for a reason so there is a bit more of a Buffer (the plug holes tend to rise out of the housing with high temps and if that was a slot it would chip the apex) might get away with it on a NA but not on a Turbo.

As for the Rotor, its all about getting the correct Flame front and his design wouldn\'t work properly. The idea is good but when you weigh it up the rotor housing design would mean there is a pocket of air fuel trapped in the back of the rotor where there is no Squash chamber for it to go so you would get two flame fronts that have been compressed differently (setting your self up for Det)

His egt\'s might have fell 600deg simply because his timing is well off and he\'s lost allot of power or he\'s not getting a good burn and lost allot of power :)

Direct fuel injection not that\'s the Future :)
