Title: Glad I don\'t live in Guernsey any more...

About a month ago they announced plans to stop bringing super unleaded onto the island, and now this!

There are an awful lot of high performance cars over there, probably a higher percentage per person than on the mainland... so basically - if you have one, you\'re stuffed.  :Grrr

I just don\'t get it. They stop selling SU fuel, then ban anyone from importing it themselves. What did they think people would do? Another case of the world gone mad/stupid.

It wasn\'t even banned as such, the main importer has just decided to stop importing it.  (They are refurbishing one of the storage areas, so a temporary cessation was on the cards...but because it accounted for only about 10% of fuel sales they\'ve decided to just pack it in altogether)
