Title: Power FC and fuel pump resistor question
Post by: Fats on February 20, 2013, 10:00:31 PM
Does the power FC still use the fuel pump resistor the same way the standard ECU did? Lower voltage at idle and no boost, full voltage under load/boost??

Was considering a fuel pump rewire but I\'m after people\'s general option

Cheers

Yes, it still uses the resistor.
If you look at the wiring diagrams, the circuit is pretty big, going through several relays etc, you lose a couple of volts by the time it gets to the pump.
If the car is standard and its been mapped, running great, you could just leave it as with a rewire you will need to get your map checked.
