Title: Injector blanking plugs?
Post by: Grizzly on February 11, 2013, 03:48:00 PM
Hi all.

Does anyone know where i can get hold of a pair of Injector Blanking plugs?

Ideally i am after a non permanent way of blocking up the two center injectors on my Atomicrex lower inlet manifold? (similar to a Xcessive lim)

Any ideas where i could get hold of some thing that would fit the bill?

What about the press fit caps that are used on engine blocks in waterways? You could take them back out easily enough as they are a press fit

I had some on the 13b EGI. They where just a turned boss with a groove for an o-ring to seal te hole. A plate held them down in place.

I have contacted Dm Motorsport who think they can help :)

I was going to just fill the two holes with Liquid metal but that seems a bit permanent, I don\'t think it would fall out as there is a nice lip on the inside (think its where the Injector pushes up to)
