Title: "MOO" Sound
Post by: Jon_P on January 28, 2013, 06:43:12 AM
Ok, I have done a little more research into this so called "MOO" sound which I originally posted up about here (http://www.mazdarotaryclub.com/forums/showthread.php?t=78769). I have found out that it\'s this restrictor that goes into one of the pipes that connect into the A\'Pexi filters but I\'m unsure which one that is. It was not supplied with the kit I bought as it was second hand and was missing that restrictor and also 2 of 3 brackets too :(

Anyway, can I have some suggestions from people as to what I can make up to use as a restrictor to put in this pipe and also which pipe to put it in! The car has to stop mooing!! It\'s really starting to :censored::censored::censored::censored: me off now!!

I\'m assuming it just needs to be a solid piece and then drill a hole through it? Also, does it just have to be the right size so it fits in the pipe tightly?

Working off memory I\'m sure there is a point on the back of the filter to pickup the airpump. I\'m working off memory from 7yrs ago.

Having a quick look for images I\'m not sure what bits you have, heres a picture of a kit on ebay :

Use a penny washer, or metal disc, tight fitting, ideally a 3mm hole
