A 10 cm length of 8mm fuel/ Oil resistant rubber hose and 4 jubilee/ hose clips, cut the metal pipe and rejoin with the rubber hose using 2 clips at each end .

This is for a temporary fix, however the best way would be to renew the whole section properly.

Truck air line connectors, used these heaps of times to repair fuel lines, get 1 the right size, cut the pipe on the hole, take all the sharp edges off the metal pipes and slide the pipe into each end of it, job done. 1 of these things http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/4mm-16mm-Push-Fit-Nylon-Tube-Hose-Straight-Connector-Joiner-Air-Line-Truck-Lorry-/320920707522?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&var=&hash=item4ab85d61c2

Wolfie pushfits are great we use them all the time but for a fuel line I\'d give them a wide berth, there are no second chances with fuel! Some of them use a low grade rubber in the seal and its exposure to fuel over a extended period would be dubious at best. If a joiner is used then I\'d suggest at the very least a nut and olive compression fitting so there are no degradation issues being brass.
We\'ve all been there with temp fixed that have a habit of becoming semi permanent until they fail again and have to be redone.
Any commercial parts supplier or most car suppliers will be able to obtain a roll of kunifer there\'s plenty on ebay also IMO do it once and right then you can forget about it.
