I added the vents first to my stock bonnet to release some heat. I used some boat bilge vents as they were cheap and aped the aero catch shape at the front.

After I found the composite bonnet I wanted I then used it to practise spraying some plastidip before doing the composite one.

Just sat in the garge now getting in the way!

I\'m interested in this - don\'t like any of the aftermarket ones i\'ve seen.

Has anyone had vents punched into the standard bonnet, is that possible?

After market bonnets are a waste of money. Spunked £500 on my scoot 5yr ago and the fitment was horrendous. Spent many hrs adding washers and shaving bits off it :censored: nightmare on elm street. It looked so ridiculas in the end i sold the :censored: thing. Never again.

Well thats also a point. The fitment off the aftermarket is often bad. The stock fits perfect but doesnt have any holes to release the heat. And thats what i want.
Thanks for the input sofar:Giggle
