Title: Best Garages for Bodywork Mods
Post by: Daston on January 07, 2013, 01:05:10 PM
Hey guys,

Hope everyone has had a good Christmas/New Year!

Quick little intro as I have been lurking for a while :)

I managed to sell my TVR last year and my wife has given me the nod for another weekend toy once we move house (will be this year).

After looking at a lot of different cars last summer I have decided that an FD would be perfect and has been something I have always wanted to own since my Supra days.

Now I don\'t tend to like my car\'s standard and one of the best things (I find) about the Jap scene is how individual peoples car\'s can be. With this in mind I will be looking to fit a full Re-Amemiya GT kit in the same colours as the Greddy D1 Car.

I just wanted to get feel of what are considered the best garages for body work and paint jobs. I fitted a body kit to my Supra and that was pretty easy, however that didn\'t include any arch extensions or riviting.

One the plus side due to the amount of the body panels being replaced it will cut down the time needed to rub the paint down lol.

Cheers

That looks like the sort of thing I am planing to do. Sadly not in a position to buy at the moment, got to wait until the house sells. Plus call me mad but I think half the fun is doing the work.

Sweet thanks chaps.

Quick question, I have noticed a couple of RX7\'s with Canards have and end plate on them that connects to the splitter. Is this due to MOT\'s? I seem to remember years back when I had the Supra that Canards were a bit of grey area with the law.
