I wish you well Gurj
I read daily but I\'m unlikely to spend that sort of money and take a chance when the cost seems to be similar to main stream authors.
Good luck
Gurj, well done I wish you well :cheers
Am I correct in thinking this is now a published novel, if so I understand it is amazing just to get published no matter what the subject matter.

The cost is fairly high, sadly with going through an US site anything lower leaves zero royalties for the writer. But the main target of this book is to get noticed and not so much to make money as that is very difficult.
:Thumbs-up

I went through the self-publishing route after being messed about by traditional publishers, the biggest draw back is marketing :spank there are lots of vanity publishers out there too who wait until the last minute before admitting you have to pay costs with their contract. Have a contract that i declined because of these tactics, very annoying :reallymad
Congrats Gurj! Have you considered e-pub? Without the cost of the physical printing you may well be able to reach a much bigger audience.

Thank you Mark :D
Hope you enjoy it mate, appreciate the support :Thumbs-up
Also forgot to add, any help in promoting the novel very much appreciated :-)
About half way through and really enjoying it. Would recommend to anyone. My only criticism is the frequent referral to the police officer as a "Trooper" even though the story is set in the UK, bugs me every time I read it! :)

The smaller things can still be fixed, its the story in the main i hope people really enjoy :Thumbsup!
The one thing i found really difficult when writing was to try not to repeat myself too much, really hard to do
Let me know if this is a really big issue Mark, the reason i called the ARU team members "troopers" was to keep them separate from the police "officers" in the same scenes. Later on it was to make sure you knew who i was referring to when i mentioned trooper - if that helps?
Thanks for the feedback so far, appreciate it :yes
Its not a big issue. I think the danger is people would assume you are an american writer telling an English story, so any perceived inaccuracies could grate.
I think the armed response in the Police force are called CO19? Or is that just the Met? If CO19 is correct perhaps you could refer to him as CO19 Officer Murray?
Got a long train journey to do later, looking forward to getting stuck back into it :)
Just read your review on Amazon Mark, thank you so much for the kind words - makes the writing process rewarding when people enjoy your work :cheers
Working on the second novel as we speak :Thumbs-up
No problem, it really was a great book I wasn\'t just saying that because you wrote it. I posted it up on Facebook too, one of my friends from Oz says they\'ve bought it now too :)

Its finding the time to write which is the problem, currently have completed 81000 words of the final book. I guess the sad thing is that once the project is finished I will have to dream up another story worth writing, this one is almost 4 years in the making and once finished will be sent out to publishers - hoping to get a contract :Typing
Thanks for the kind words, and happy you enjoyed it :Thumbs-up
The last part of the trilogy is now available on Amazon :yes
