After Looking at the rotors I got out of Stu\'s engine I can\'t see me putting the car back together any time soon. They may be salvagable but most of the seals are stuck in the rotor.
Car is currently SORN and the MOT ran out Dec 12th.
The cars spec is has the following :
Black Shell with full Interior, standard Grey. All in reasonable condition. Rust wise its in good condition under the car with some small rust bubbles in different places. Nothing too major. Panel behind fuel tank needs replacing to pass a MOT. Gold Tint Moonroof (very rare)
Engine bay has an uprated double radiator, T2 oil cooler (all lines included). Stock ignition (can supply a microtech ECI and all parts needed for £300 extra). Will Supply all needed apart from a complete engine.
The master and slave clutch cylinder was replaced very recently. Clucth and flywheel is also nearly new and in very good condition. Starter motor was refurbished less than 6 months ago and looks and runs like brand new.
Will include all parts needed to start the car on LPG, Impco Carb and Vapouriser.
Engine parts will be all the parts from the original engine that suffered bearing failure and 2 exta housings and Plates and crankshaft from Stu\'s Engine. This will include a GSLE sump to allow a 12a front cover on a 13b engine.
Suspension wise the car was fully polybushed a few years ago and the rear dampers where replaced last year. Brand new front dampers will be included in the deal, but need to be fitted.
Car has S4 Gearbox to give better motorway mpg. Fitted in last 12 months and runs very well.
The Differential was reburbished a few years ago and is all in good condition.
Brakes are all in good condition. Rears where replaced when I first bought the car. Approx 45k miles ago.
17in Team Dynamics Alloy Wheels with very good condition Tyres (Fronts nearly new, rears loads of tread left). I\'ll include a set of original 14in wheels too, tyres may not be legal though.
Car was in a small incident and I replaced the front bumper, the passenger wing and front panel. It was all repainted to match original colour. There is some obvious panel swappage in the engine bay. Headlights can get out of sync on occasion but I saw it more with it being my daily driver.
All in all its hard to say what the value of the car really is but im looking for £600 ovno.

Got a 2nd hand 12a installed, can\'t get it to fire up though. Sounds like very good poofs when I bought it though.
Looking for £400 ono WITHOUT the 17in alloys (stock wheels will be included, tyres not in best condition), the microtech and moonroof (stock sunroof will be included).
I\'m going to give it till mid May and then the car will be broken. This would make a very cool summer project. Anybody handy with a welder would have little issues getting the small rusty bits sorted. The engine just wants a good looking at too, can\'t see why it won\'t fire up.

Does the lpg all need installing or is it already fitted?
Its already fitted, The only thing that needs looking at is the throttle cable. The 12a intake manifold is a little different to the 13b before it.
The car has been on lpg for about 5yrs !

Not entirely sure what you mean but the the 12a was bought after I blew the 13b. Been trying today to get it started, it spluttered but not much more.
The insurance was about £500 pa on 11k per year as a first car, although that was with a bigger engine.
The shell isn\'t all that bad really, Your more than welcome to come and have a look at the car if you want.

I\'ve had a good think about it and I think I\'m going to have to with my head not my heart. It would be a fair but to much work for me right now to take it on. If I had some where to store it then maybe but I don\'t. Sorry bud, hoping you don\'t have to break it. He\'ll throwing a rover v8 in there to get it back out on the street would be better than having to break it:(
I think you where the last ditch effort on the survival front, car will start to be broken up at the weekend. I can\'t put it off any longer :(
