Having some strange problems, I can post from my iphone and work PC. But at home I wrote a complete long passage and tried to post. It says I have to have more than 10 characters, which was hundreds when I finished... Still won\'t have any of it. Which is why I test posted first. Anyone know of this issue or how to fix? I have deleted all internet cookie, temp data etc.. even used the windows 7 IE reset utillity to reset IE back to all defaults.. still the error occurs.

Hi, I\'m just in the process of building an RX8 race car with an RX8 engine.
The car is an ex-Mazda uk backed Britcar which I bought as a un-finished project off Gugliami Motorsport after Mazda pulled the plug on the RX8 in favour of the MX5.
To get the car which was the number 97 car I had to buy the other two cars which were the number 96 and 98 cars.
Ive got a long way to go with the project but the basic spec is as follows.
RX8 lightened shell with weld in cage.
Carbon doors
Hewland sequential gearbox
365 floating disc and 6pot AP\'s front
290 discs with 4pot brembo\'s rear
Plate LSD
420bhp RX7 motor
Bespoke Biltsien dampers
Rose jointed adjustable suspension
In car adjustable blade ARB\'s
10X18 rears
9X18 fronts
Ginetta G55 tires
Target weight under 1000kgs.
Cheers Martin

I want to start a build thread, is there a section here for projects I couldnt seem to see one,
Cheers Martin

Welcome to MRC Martin, good luck with the project that I\'ve heard rumours of already.

As you must already know, Steve was very frustrated when he was not allowed by Mazda to fit a three rotor in the car and shift much higher up the grid but as Mazda told Steve and myself, they did not make a triple RX-8 and so saw no mileage in such a project for themselves :3Confused , indeed Steve left the engines bone stock and just concentrated on the chassis instead

Surprised you have the cars as I always thought that like the Formula Woman cars, Mazda retained ownership, indeed they resurrected one FW RX-8 with Team Jota, who Mazda now designate to run their race cars over here  in the shape of a Drift car for the Top Gear road show.

Btw , Here\'s a picture I took back in April 2005 of the 96 car you now have.

Really looking forward to seeing and of course hearing this develop :)
