Hi All,
I\'m in need of some help, please. Pretty soon I am going to be selling my RX7 (probably wait until Xmas is out the way) to make way for something more practical following the birth of my son.
Because I\'m not really involved in the scene I have absolutely no idea what to sell the car for (price).
So if you were me what would you put it up for??
Below are some pictures. First two are from a magazine photoshoot and the spec is below the pictures.

The market is strange with rx7\'s. . A few weeks ago a near mint one owner 94 fd. Completely stock only sold for 4700. It\'s very rare to hear of sales over 6k at the moment for extremely desired examples. ...IF the owner is prepared to let it go so little.
Some really very nice rx7 are just not selling for what they are worth so owners are breaking.
You haven\'t mentioned rebuild or mileage. These are quite important selling factors. Get it compression tested and the results give potential buyers a hint to engines health.
I\'ve recently brought a mag featured Rex with a substantial amount of work done to it for not a lot considering.
Without sounding or trying to insult. I think you.ll struggle to get 5000 . But get the engine info up that will help infinitely .
Regards Mark
what year is it?
@Mark.
Gulp! Thanks for the info/advice.
Car was rebuilt when I bought it and because I only drive it on dry days I\'ve done about 10 to 15k tops.
@SFW
It\'s a 1992
Cheers Si
I appreciate that the engine has only done 15k since rebuild, however some people will also be interested to know the overall mileage, since it affects the interior & suspension (especially the rear bushes wear with miles).
Would help to get some compression test results (hopefully 7.0 or above on all six faces)
It has exhaust, intake, intercooler & Power FC - has this been mapped, who by and to what power output roughly?
For stock cars with decent compression results, I\'ve seen two \'96 cars go for either side of £5k, and two \'99 ones for £7.5k each in the last couple of months. So pre-96 cars would be under £5k for a stock car I\'d think (£3-4K?)
Then it\'s got a decent set of mods, so I guess maybe around £5k? Hard to value the mods, especially the bodykit, but to some people it would be worth more for that I guess.
But you want to get a compression test done for it to sell, I\'d think.
Here\'s a white \'95 up at £5k which looks superficially pretty comparable to yours:

edit: & a blue \'92 at £4k

Thanks All for your input!
Based on the above an offer over 5K would secure my car then...
