in light of the rex being a write off, i might buy the motor back cus the engine is still strong.
 
im thinking of a project but not sure what, i kind of like the t2 cabs, is it an easy engine swap from an fd?

The engine mounts are different. The fd mounts off the rear plate, there mounts on the centre plate. Not too hard to make mounting points.

The wiring harness is different too, would have to swap all that over.

would be intertesing to see a cab with a FD complete in engine in it though :D

If you want another fd I have got a complete rolling shell with mazdaspeed wheels, cusco coil overs and blitz catback on it for £1500. Only bits missing are engine, gearbox, ecu and boot carpet.

Have also got apexi ecu and commander for £500
