Post by: konaboy6284 on December 03, 2012, 01:35:11 AM
eyup, pretty new to the forum, pretty new to the wankel, but thought id show you guys my car :)

its an \'86 EGI S4, and its in a pretty sorry state to be honest..
doesnt start, and when i got it it looked like this

safe to say, clean it aint!! but the projects got started now, its not going to be a quick one by any stretch, due to being pretty skint.. but il try and keep this updated with progress, and i think its fair to say im going to need to use your wealth of knowledge at times to help me along... :god

after a bit of swearing, some metalwork, and a lot of being :censored::censored::censored::censored:ed around by people on ebay :Grrr it now looks like this..

i had a few (read - a LOT) of questions earlier, but the search button answered most of those, so il leave it at that for now.

look forward to pestering you all with rotary noob questions! :chat

No it looks like someone failed to learn to drift in that!

Good man for taking the rotary road and not being scared to jump right in.

yes indeedy, its got a long way to go!
but iv always dreamed of a rotary, so when this came up, i couldnt say no!
all the sills and most of the floor needs replacing, so that\'ll be interesting.
thanks for the support guys :)
il do my best to update this when progress happens

on a slightly unrelated note,
you need 250 posts to post in the for sale threads dont you? cus im gunna need to be buying stuff for this rather sooner than that! or is that just about selling things, not buying it? cheers
