Posted on behalf of Super 7 Autos QuoteIt has been brought to my attention as a result of endless phone calls from various people asking for confirmation of an alleged rebuild by us, that there is a white Rx7 (LINK (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MAZDA-RX7-FD3S-R-Magic-Drift-Car-Show-Car-/190758686690?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item2c6a1a8fe2)) on Ebay claiming to have been rebuilt by us 3000 miles ago which is not true.
In fact the engine has not been done by us at any mileage. We have done some work to this car for the previous owner, but mostly wiring and mot work, and that was almost 2 years ago. The car was then laid up in our compound as it still required a fair bit more of attention, but this was not completed due to the owners lack of funds. It was finally sold to its current owner who is now attempting to sell it on, claiming a rebuild by us.
I have tried contacting the owner to clear this matter up but up until now have had no success, and now after having had the phone hung up on me after realizing who I was lol, I now believe this seller has no intentions of talking to me hence this post. I will also be reporting this issue to Ebay.
I am not sure on the the cars current condition, but I do know that when the car left us back in July/Aug time it still required a fair bit of attention: bent rims, mapping, bodywork etc, etc. (Perhaps these issues have been sorted?? I would seriously check it if you are considering this purchase!)
But what I am most concerned about is that the car was not mapped when it left us, nor did it have an adequate fuel system for a turbo of that size. If not mapped properly its simply going to fail, and with our name against it! This I do not want.
I hope this clears things up.

Jason

Ouch! Hope no-one picks this up as their introduction to rotary ownership!
Reputation is a business\' most important asset, so hopefully the word gets around that Super 7 never did rebuild that car\'s engine.
I\'ll just post the plate - J923 HMY - here so that perhaps google will pick it up and helps someone avoid making a very costly mistake.
I\'ve contacted one of the Mods on FDUK (M@rk) with the post checking I\'m ok to stick up or let him stick up.

The seller seems like an idiot anyway-calling the bodykit on the car an "R Magic" kit lolll
