Post by: j4cko on November 19, 2012, 02:09:19 PM
We\'ve recently replaced the diff on our \'83 FB.

What is the best oil to put in it? Cheers

Yep 75w90 API GL5. I have use Valvoline in the past and more recently full synthetic Castrol.

That\'s for Series 3, S2 is bound to be same I would think.

Mine was Castrol Differential Oil SAF XO, 75w90 API GL5, full synthetic. If the Halfords item says API GL5 then I\'m sure that\'s fine as well. The Halfords spec page doesn\'t show that information.....doooh.

I\'m banging on about API GL5 because that\'s the handbook spec.

Hope that helps.
