As title I\'m gutting the fc at the same time I\'m going to rebuild all the wire harnesses in the car as I need to add some new wires and take some away.
Few question while I\'m doing this is there anything like ignition coils trick rewires that people normal do to sort things e.g. cut a relay out or add extra wires to components.
I\'ve already planned for the battery in boot and going to run a 140 amp alternator as the only thing running off the aux belts is the alt the rest are all converted to electric.
Also Im going too add in the ecu wires I have 2 options go greddy emanage ultimate or power fc. I know with the power fc you have to change to fd ignition coils hence why if doing wiring might as well wire for the ecu too.
As I think even if I went to fd coils I would want uprated ones as I might wanna go bigger turbo later on.
Last but not least going to change glass to lexen is it worth changing front screen have read reports that the thicbest screen (one I would be looking at using) as little weight gain and flexes at high speeds. Thoughts?

If its a road car don\'t bother changing the windows, plastic will scratch, also you need to get it heated if your removing the heaters/blowers?
As for coils, you can take a direct feed off your battery to the 12v feed on the coils, just make sure you loop it to the other coils and get it in the right terminal
It is a road car but not a normal road car my plan is to use it for drifting and track days and the odd weekend blast to shows. I\'m changing the side and rear glass to lexen but wasn\'t sure on front screen. AsI hhave read people haven\'t really saved any weight.
I\'m not removing heater it\'s all coming out and dash and heaters are going back in and putting bins in the back but removing stuffing from carpet as my wife wants the car to look like a car when she has to go in it to track days.
Yer I have full wire diagram so can find out lives earths switches everything from them.
Was more a case of if I\'m going to custom build the harnesses they may as well get built to match and upgraded parts. As I need to add extra wires for the extra fuel pumps and water pumps ect
