I\'m trying to track down which Bilsteins and springs a FD \'96 RS has with the intention of finding out how adjustable they are.
Does anyone know?
Thanks.
Chris.
After glancing at the model guide we have (http://www.mazdarotaryclub.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=394) I\'m now not 100% sure I am running Bilstein\'s (the guide just says Dampers = Hard) - I am going by the Newera description, although I guess they could be after market.
Does anyone with an RS want to confirm?
I\'ll try and take a closer look tonight.

I have a \'95 RS and it doesn\'t have bilsteins although I have a feeling \'96+ RS models do ( I could be wrong though!!)
If they are adjustable, I *think* you should be able to pop the caps off on the top of the shock mounts (i.e. under the bonnet at each end of your anti-roll bar) and see an adjuster. I\'m not an expert here so could be talking complete testicles.
Ahah! I\'ve wondered what those covers were for, I\'ll have a go at popping them off and I\'ll see what lurks beneath.
I am guessing the rears would be hidden under these 2 small panels, are these easy to take off?
The fronts look look \'stock\' damper tops.
As for the covers on the rear strut brace, yes they r easy to remove. The technical method of removal goes some thing like:
1) yank
:)
After an inspection and a bit of yanking I am agreeing with you 20B_boy, they look pretty standard to me :(
I\'ll have a go at yanking the rear covers off ( :) ) but I expect to find standard there too.
Well at least that\'s something else I can spend my money on :) at least after I\'ve paid this years insurance, up by £40! Grrr :(
