Title: No boost on second turbo
Post by: marf on November 09, 2012, 10:07:16 PM
Just been out for a drive and I\'ve lost boost on the second turbo.

Not sure if it\'s coincidence but the rev counter was really erratic, but is now working fine.

Mine\'s a 96 so should have the updated turbo control. Where do I start to diagnose this problem?

Thanks

Possibly a vac like leak or faulty solonoid in the rats nest... Assuming its still got the full nest

Thanks Arnie, I guess I need to check over the vac hoses first then go from there.

I just thought it odd that the rev counter coming back to life at the same time, I guess it\'s just coincidence!

Had a look yesterday afternoon to no avail, so I\'m taking her down to Jason@Super7 on Saturday morning to check over.

Have a look down the back of the strut brace and on top of the engine you will see a black plastic box with three small pipes, it is  likely from your description that one of these has come off.
