Title: Info on an FC
Post by: Dragun on November 01, 2012, 08:34:19 PM
Guys

I\'m thinking of buying a stock FC as an everyday car and use me FD as a weekend and track toy.

Can you guys tell me what the mpg is like on a stock FC how are they to drive etc.

Any info would be great. Thanks

Go find a different car if you are looking for MPG, although there is the EGI, stock turbo IIs are pretty quick and a few tiny bolt on mods will increase power by about 75%

Im not looking for immense mpg, as I know rotaries are not the most economical engines, but staying loyal to them I\'m
Just wondering what a stock non turbo fc mpg is roughly. Anything has gotta be better than the single figures my FD puts out lol

An EGI will get you 20-25 mpg on a run being gentle on the right foot iirc. But general mixed driving will see you knock 5 - 10mpg off easy. The TII\'s are slightly better on fuel but not by much.

I averaged 18 mpg with the vert, and a suitably heavy right foot :):D

I average 25mpg on highway cruising, mixed snow, ice, dry and wet asphalt. This was an S5 TII
