Title: Vacuum Check valves
Post by: fly on July 18, 2004, 02:01:35 PM
Can you use a smalll diameter green/white check valve in place of a large diameter geen/black one, 2 of the larger valves seem blocked, or maybe they have a higher spring tension?

Any help would be welcome, might finish my car today!

i doubt it mate..they are obviously a different size for a reason. I am in the middle of doing my rats nest right now,and i need about 3 small check valves and 1 large.i think you should be able to blow through them 1 way easily, if you cant then they are probably dead!!

I replaced mine a year ago with cheap plastic check valves from the local motor factors.  Car has run fine since....

Cheers
