Awesome! My recommendation would be to have someone on the shorter and advantageously much lighter side that is also used to more than 2 rotors. Many advantages, could recommend someone if required.

Carl\'s rx3 will run some times once he swaps it with me for my rx4:D it will fit better in my garage than my rx4 too, what do you rekon Carl;)? Obviously you can keep the 20B as its worth more than my 13B. I\'m being genuinely serious too.

Right, just so that everyone is very clear regarding my thoughts on trolling, bullying whatever you want to call it

This is a forum that belongs to a car club.  On this forum we discuss our cars, the rotary engine, the use of them in motorsport, general chit chat etc - we share a common interest.

People indulge their passions and share them on here because its meant to be FUN.

I don\'t care if someone posts up on here about a rotary powered R/C plane or a rotary powered 10,000bhp Rx7 - they deserve to at least be treated with common courtesy, not derision.

To deride someones work, achievements and goals behind the faceless facade of a keyboard is cowardly and pathetic.  If you have genuine advice, backed up with knowledge then everyone will read it, but pointless bile achieves nothing.

In short, I\'m sick of the trolls and "My engine builder/mate/brother/opinion is better than yours" mentality being demonstrated from some users.
(And generally the most objectionable people behind a keyboard tend to be the ones who are genuinely nice peeps face to face!)

Respect one another, or quite frankly get off this forum - I have no problem showing you the door.

Must be running nitro then? What sort of compression would you need to ignite the nitro? Have always wondered why no one has tried nitro on a rotary....
Title: New drag car!
Post by: HaywardRotary on October 30, 2012, 07:45:00 PM
Then there is the 30,000 hp project (Jet engine)

Nah, that\'ll just make you blind, until you burn it, then it\'ll make you cry, the fuel mix they run in Top Fuel Dragsters burns to produce CS gas.
Title: New drag car!
Post by: wolfie1 on October 30, 2012, 08:10:34 PM
I have about 2 gallons of nitro in a drawer in my house!
Title: New drag car!
Post by: Grant Monkhouse on October 30, 2012, 08:24:19 PM
Hitting nitro with a hammer is more dangerous than throwing a lit match into it. FACT.

The top fuel dragster spit out nitric acid, that\'s what all the gas masks are for etc
Title: New drag car!
Post by: Will66 on October 30, 2012, 08:31:07 PM
Which is why it works as a fuel in Top Fuel cars when they\'re half way down the strip and most of their spark plugs have eroded.
Title: New drag car!
Post by: Grant Monkhouse on October 30, 2012, 08:42:45 PM
Change eroded with melted. Once at pod watching an engine get stripped between runs, guy pulled plugs out, looked at them, went hmmm and threw then in the bin!
