Here is a pic of my new drag car chassis.
Four Rotor FTW!
Oh yes, how many turbos thiough? ;)
Not sure on number of turbos yet.
Looking at getting it running for next year hopefully but will take alot of development time so not expecting great things straight away.
Safe to say there will be more than one then :D
Good things come to those who Carl.
I will get intouch with Kev about the adapter plate and see if we can get a pair knocked up, one for you one for Kev
A funny car chassis too! This is going to be cool.
Cool keep us posted please!
That looks like it will be reasonably quick! :Giggle
Whats the luggage capacity like?
Awesome! My recommendation would be to have someone on the shorter and advantageously much lighter side that is also used to more than 2 rotors. Many advantages, could recommend someone if required.

Why not just come and see me sometime and we can have a good chat about rotaries. :cheers
i would love to come over and have a look around the rx cars
tbh i cant afford to do so, hence why asking on here
thanks anyways
Carl\'s rx3 will run some times once he swaps it with me for my rx4:D it will fit better in my garage than my rx4 too, what do you rekon Carl;)? Obviously you can keep the 20B as its worth more than my 13B. I\'m being genuinely serious too.

Right, just so that everyone is very clear regarding my thoughts on trolling, bullying whatever you want to call it
This is a forum that belongs to a car club. On this forum we discuss our cars, the rotary engine, the use of them in motorsport, general chit chat etc - we share a common interest.
People indulge their passions and share them on here because its meant to be FUN.
I don\'t care if someone posts up on here about a rotary powered R/C plane or a rotary powered 10,000bhp Rx7 - they deserve to at least be treated with common courtesy, not derision.
To deride someones work, achievements and goals behind the faceless facade of a keyboard is cowardly and pathetic. If you have genuine advice, backed up with knowledge then everyone will read it, but pointless bile achieves nothing.
In short, I\'m sick of the trolls and "My engine builder/mate/brother/opinion is better than yours" mentality being demonstrated from some users.
(And generally the most objectionable people behind a keyboard tend to be the ones who are genuinely nice peeps face to face!)
Respect one another, or quite frankly get off this forum - I have no problem showing you the door.
Well said.
[passes will66 a breath mint]
Brett\'s post lost on hayden.
Ignore the trolls.
Would be nice to see a couple more pictures of the chassis and running gear.
Winner! :Giggle
Oops....wrong thread :o
My other secret project is a 10,000hp drag RX7, I cant beleive that Brett has outed it!
Must be running nitro then? What sort of compression would you need to ignite the nitro? Have always wondered why no one has tried nitro on a rotary....
Then there is the 30,000 hp project (Jet engine)
Ok Carl what you been smoking???
Quote from: Grant Monkhouse;839790Ok Carl what you been smoking???
Who me? Lil ol me? Nuttin............:burnout
:Thumbsup!Been sniffing the nitro and methanol haven\'t you?:Thumbsup!:2eek:rollin:Party
that be it, hic
Nah, that\'ll just make you blind, until you burn it, then it\'ll make you cry, the fuel mix they run in Top Fuel Dragsters burns to produce CS gas.
I have about 2 gallons of nitro in a drawer in my house!
Hitting nitro with a hammer is more dangerous than throwing a lit match into it. FACT.
The top fuel dragster spit out nitric acid, that\'s what all the gas masks are for etc
Which is why it works as a fuel in Top Fuel cars when they\'re half way down the strip and most of their spark plugs have eroded.
Change eroded with melted. Once at pod watching an engine get stripped between runs, guy pulled plugs out, looked at them, went hmmm and threw then in the bin!
Engine lasts 3 minutes and can only run at full power for ten seconds!
Quote from: Will66;839808Engine lasts 3 minutes and can only run at full power for ten seconds!
Just like a Lotus? :Giggle
The engines I run it in dont use spark plugs and the engines rev out to about 13000 rpm :3gears-lh
Do they displace 4 or 5 cc though?
