this is only an EU "proposal" by an EUMP, dont worry guys, the DOT/Government have no plans to implement said proposal in the near future when questioned directly

Lets hope not blitz boy! It would get rid of a lot of people\'s hobbys and for me and many others would put us out of a job, I suppose we could just turn into giro technicians and we could all take up a new hobby of hard core drugs!

Signed anyway but 335 votes would make little difference if for real.

Crazy things do happen, pre 60 potential death traps are going to be MOT exempt so with no tax required all you need to drive these cars is insurance.

Looks like AON  may try and get these cars MOT though if they are insured with them

http://www.aon.com/unitedkingdom/ Insurace company.

Just remembered, these people would know if this is for real as they actually have a member who sits in when the EEC is making vehicle decisions in Brussels so they can protect usage of their Vintage cars

One active discussion a couple of years back I was told about was that maybe all cars in Europe should be fitted with transponders to control all vehicles speeds in designated areas

Yep and it\'s been posted all over the net as if it\'s truth and definitely going to happen. The joys of the internet.

It\'s pre-emptive action. No one is saying it\'s defently going to go ahead, but if no one speaks up....

It can\'t possibly go through as it will destroy an entire industry that brings in a huge amount of cash and tax.
Just some guff.
