Well it might work. Is there an aftermarket front bumper with a bit of space inside the nose above the intake. The idea being relocating the induction kit into it and fitting a scoop into the radiator intake that will draw air into the nose to direct feed cold air filters and down a long tract to turbos. Has anyone seen anything like this done before. I am aware of the complete lack of space anywhere between the front wheels hence the requirement of a longer front bumper.............maybe. Does any of this make sense? Christ I wish I wasn\'t a complete computer goof so I could draw a diagram!!
erm surely a cold air feed to a at least relatively sealed off induction kit is best way & best use of space?
you\'d have to be carefull where you put the hole as there are negative pressure areas and positive pressure areas due to the areodynamics.
Si. I have considered a closed induction kit but they are few and far between and hugely expensive, i.e Knightsports or GruppeM. Have Blitz at the mo and have been trying to enclose it with fibreglass etc but having probs getting cold air directly to it.
Mike never really thought about that. I suppose it should be fairly positive being in the air intake due to the fact that the hole in question is used to channel air to the radiator. As i had said it is just an idea. Thought it might be a bit different but possibly just a pain in the arse to do.
Your talking about creating/buying a front bumper. The cost of this sprayed and fitted will outcost a GruppeM IMO.
Get the new sonic air induction, keeps cool:)
