I\'d like to organise a rotor meet in Sussex, there are some cracking roads around here.
My proposed venue would be a nice country pub - probably somewhere like the Blacksmiths Arms in Adversane.
Thinking of trying to get something in place end of October/Early November.
Anyone interested? :burnout
I will be up for that.
Well that\'s two people so far! :)
I should be able to bring another couple of rx8,s depending on dates etc.
How about Sunday 28th October? :)
Starting to get a few cars together now - quite an interesting mix ;)
Should be ok with me depending on time etc.
I\'m thinking from 2:30pm onwards?
*****BUMP******
There\'s loads of rotors in Sussex - come on!
are surrey rotaries allowed too? looks like the mrs is away that weekend so free pass in the offing ....
:)
Go for it :D
Not excluding anyone :)
Have confirmed the 28th with the pub :)

They do good food there as well :D
Might hazard the trip...I\'ll need to park round the back away from the shiny ones again though ;)
....99% of the parking is round the back :Giggle
Yeah I\'d be up for it.
Dont forget to put the clocks back though:eek:
Keith
Excellent - be good to catch up :)
Trying to get an idea of numbers now:
1) Brett + 2 others
2) Cessnut87
3) JDM-Ben + others
4) Smarts
5) Jinx
6) B9 KLF
7)
Can someone post this up on FDUK and RX8OC? :)
Brett, if we are going for a little spin then it may be too late to meet at 2.30pm given that it wiil be dark at 4.30pm by then!
Could it not be earlier, say 11.30am drive, and then meet at the pub.
Keith
The drive to the pub will be plenty of fun, that\'s what I was getting at :Giggle
Be a bit hard to move the time now as its advertised in quite a few places :o
Wednesday bump! :)
Another bump! Don\'t make me sit there cold alone people! :rollin
Don\'t worry we\'ll be there (free bump)
Keith
Fantastic, I just spent the day pulling the dash apart, so st least it won\'t be in vain :D
Well, as long as you won\'t be alone, I\'ll give the floor tiling emergency the attention it needs with a clear conscience and hope I make the next one - if any. Was quite looking forward to a proper Sunday lunch...bu**er.
A tiling emergency... without pictures that comment is wasted! :Giggle
Jimmy Saville memorial mosaic. No pictures possible - trustees in hiding.
LMAO! As long as you\'re not wasting your time!
We had quite a good turn out considering the weather etc :)
The place turned out to be packed though! Will have to make future meets a bit later in the day, or maybe on a saturday?
All in all it was a good little meet up, and the roast dinners weren\'t half bad - even if a certain someone did chicken out of a desert! :Giggle
So, I\'m thinking of doing this again now that the stupidly cold weather seems to have passed.
Anyone got ideas for a date? Might have to change the venue as it turns out the Blacksmiths is slightly more popular than I remembered!
