Hi everyone!
I\'m currently trying to get my dissertation under way - I\'m looking into stress analysis with comparisons between rotary engines and reciprocating engines.
I\'d just like some help identifying a rotor that I have acquired. I\'ve tried quite a bit of searching but am not having any luck.
Dimensions that I have found online are not matching up.
Rotor depth is 66.5mm, and the radius is roughly 100mm (but I think I may be measuring it wrongly.

(sorry the last image is crappy)
Thanks!
Well thats defo Old school, i\'m 70% sure thats the 6mm apex seal variety so twin distributor engines came with 6mm apex seals (12a maybe 10a)
And thats about as far as my Old school Knolage goes :) try putting a pic on the Old school page. Shouldn\'t be too hard to figure out what its from as its single side seals and they cross the corner seal.
Thanks for the input! :)
I suspected it may have been old. Do you mean 6mm seal height, because the seal gap is only 5mm thick? Sorry, I\'m uncertain of how to measure these things...
I\'ll give the old school page a go too.
Its an NSU RO80 rotor.
