I\'m still running with the twins :-) overtime they have started to hit lower and lower boost levels. It\'s mapped to 1 bar but most of the time it only hits 0.85. On the odd occasion they will get to .9 or so but the never hit 1bar anymore. I\'ve checked for boost leak and that\'s all good so... Rebuild the twins?
I don\'t have the money for a single.... :-( I\'m running non sequential to make up for it though :-)
Rebuilding them is quite expensive for what they actually do. IMO I would buy a set of used turbos. There are plenty around and go cheap as chips.
Mine did exactly that and when it was stripped there was some bad cracking around the wategate Button, it felt laboured when picking up and the Target boost slowly dropped over time. Mine where stripped, some of the castings changed and it was away again :) as long as there not Blowing smoke / not got much shaft Movement it would be worth stripping before you replace ;)
Don\'t envy you that Job though.
I would go for a good used set, they are expensive to rebuild so go with a good used set (have seen some for sale on here quite often) and then save up to go single.
Very expencive to rebuild, i am only saying check what is atualy damaged before you replace, it don\'t make sence to replace both Turbo\'s if its not even them that is at fault?
Maybe line a good set up, Take yours off, Have a look at them for big Cracks etc if they are Goosed then replace. But a word of Warning make sure the new Turbo\'s are good, its not a plesent Job and you dont want to be doing it twice :)
I have a couple of used sets of twins and also a manifold that hasn\'t cracked in the usual places

How much mate? I\'ll have a good check for any leakage first :-)
