had 1 of these in at work today on the dyno for a power run, turboed and 4x4 was really surprised with the results. 1st run was with the bonnet open and it made 276bhp at the flywheel and second run made 301 at the fly with the bonnet closed

the surprising thing is we have a cooling fan specially for top mounts but with the bonnet shut just the fan for front mounts was on, just shows the difference proper ducting makes
Mazda 6 MPS, pretty badass saloon car. Good car for a bankrobbery, seats four with luggage, power, torque and grip.
this thing was quite modifyed, was pretty cool wouldnt mind 1 for my daily drive and get rid of the vectra sri 150!
so what should it have put out as stock ??
as those figures are very impressive
couldnt tell you to be honest sorry
They make 256bhp as standard as far as I know, 2.3 litre turbo engine, so it makes 111bhp per litre, versus the heavily restricted 153bhp per litre of a standard turbo II FC, rotary FTW :D
I\'d love one of these - did they make an estate variant?
Only available as a saloon sadly.
.....and dont forget the Mazda 3 mps but front wheel drive.....both 3 and 6 \'s are cheap but there £460 a year to tax!!!! from 06 to 09..after its drops 1 class to £260....Mazda really messed up the tax class as the rev2 is few co2 thingies lower and same power but in the lower class. BBR have a good website and tune them. 350 bhp is poss. .....i am looking to get a 3mps ....but i wont pay that tax so trying to save so i can get a 09 model.
