Title: water temp sensor - coolant low
Post by: anthony on August 20, 2012, 06:13:53 PM
I have the coolant low light lit at all times .thereis plenty of coolant in there and the temp guage definitely works. The guy before said the wire had snapped off hencre the light. But where is this wire?
Do i need to take out the head light? I presume the bottle is under there. Im used to the level  sensor is inside the bottle?

Check the plug connector...easy to pull out , makes circuit by grounding out. If the wires broke at the connection on the water tower ( black resin) you will have a 2 get a replacement me thinks......you really need to sort this.

Thanks guys. Found the snapped wire with the black connector connectef. Ill need to remove all the pipes to see the other end and im hoping the other end of the wire isnt inside the coolant housing :) so i can just re join them together.
