Title: Hello, to my new triangular friends.
Post by: GETitSIDEways on August 19, 2012, 08:02:19 PM
Hi everyone. Got to say "Good Forum". I bought an 1990 FC TII as a drift project about 3 weeks ago. Upon closer inspection I found that it was seriously rotten underneath so after calling around frantically looking for a good shell Hayward rotary caught one on Driftworks and pointed me towards it. Thanks Hayward.
So long storey short, I now have 2 FC\'S TII and a 1987 NA EGI. The plan is to use the EGI  strip her right down and start for the ground up using the TII\'s power plant. Its to be a full on D Spec car hopefully completed in good time. I have been drifting for some years but have been away from it for the last 18 months because of work so really looking forward to getting it on with my first rotary drift car.
So no doubt I will meet some of you guys over the technical and parts sections as I need a load of stuff to get the car completed.
See you around,
Dj

A very warm welcome to the MRC:wave

Normally, someone would welcome new people pretty much straight away, but a lot of MRC members were at Santa Pod on Saturday at Rotorstock, the biggest gathering of Rotary powered cars in Europe. Many camped overnight to the Sunday, nursing sunburn and hangovers.............:Laugh

Hope to hear more of your project as it develops - why not start a project thread on the forum, as it\'ll keep people posted and you can ask questions as you go along?
