It has RZ characteristics, but I\'m no expert.

If I had the space I\'d be bidding on that puppy :)

Well the RZ came with Carbon backed Recaros and the Bilsteins as described in the ad so I guess it\'ll be an RZ!! Only other difference is that the later RZ\'s had uprated brakes.

I\'m probably going to have a pop at bidding on that. I\'m guessing it will need a rebuild though (it\'s done 60k miles). Still quite cheap (at the moment anyway) :)

Well well! Have you guys seen the latest? There\'s a note on their now stating that there is a discussion here about the car, i.e. that it might well be an RZ!

Didn\'t take long. Even so, with no reserve this is a complete bargain imho. Wonder why it is quite so cheap and with no reserve though. Would be suspicious whether it\'s an RZ or not!

prob in need of a rebuild, but even so, an un modded RZ at that sort of money even needing a new engine is going to be a bargain!

And all the way to Swansea to check it out.

Wait till a few hours before bidding closes, that price will rocket.

Even with the rebuild issue looks a very clean well looked after example, might even get another 15k off the engine yet too.

Go bid Fro, but like the other have said wait until the last hour of bidding before jumping in and hiking the price too early mate.

Sold my skyline on there, price jumped £1200 in the last 30 mins!!!;)

Yeah I\'d imagine it will make what it\'s worth in the end. There\'s always a few late high bidders :)
oh the magic of eBay :cool

QuoteI thought all RZs were snowy white though ?

All the RZs from 2000 onwards are Snow White Pearl Mica i believe, all RZs before that were Brilliant Black.

No, it\'s still on.

I made a casual enquiry about auction grade and the damage to the drivers seat (which he only posted about yesterday :o ), but there has been no response.

1hr 22mins to go...

My mate sold his RZ for £5.5K in the end. After I\'d nicked the Recaros :) At 60K miles the car is going to be a bit tired so the RZ premium is a bit of a nonsense IMO - the harder bilstein setup is gonna b pretty warn for a start. Practically the RZs are little different to drive any way. You get the 4.3 diff which is good or bad depending what u like doing with the car. And the bins instead of the seats - again personal preference as to whether good thing/bad thing. The Recaros are the thing that make them worth buying for me - but at 60K I imagine they are pretty worn? the pair I had from a 45-50K car are very worn on the drivers seat - the cloth is not hard wearing at all. But I wanted a set to get retrimmed so they were worth swapping my \'stock\' seats for...

I\'m not trying to rubbish the car, if its a good 93/94 then its a good price. If the Recaros are in good nick then its a bargain. I\'m just politely trying to say that its not a bargain just cause its an RZ and they were ltd edition; a rough RZ is still a rough car - and rough FD\'s are not a nice thing to own! From the pictures it looks pretty straight and it has a nice MS A-spec (or similar/copy of) rear wing and the rims look clean (and are very light :))...

Oh, there werent only 300 RZ\'s made over the years btw ;)

Good luck with the sale, hope she goes to a good home!

Went to have a look at the car earlier today....it was just down the road from where I work. She was in superb condition and nearly 100% original. The damage to the seat was pretty minimal, all in all a very nice car. Easily worth £7100.

Not really cheap at 60K miles, but a \'fair\' price I\'d say considering how the FD market has been of late :(

Bargain if it makes another 20K on the engine :)

Sounds like a good buy then, even if it needs a rebuild soon. The earlier cars are becoming harder to find in very good nick these days so if its in the condition you say it is the buyer should have a nice car for him/herself...

Did anyone who looked at it notice if it had the footrest in the passenger footwell and the extra knee pad on the drivers door? Another couple of ways of telling if its an original :D

It did look pretty nice, I think the earlier ones were more limited edition than the later ones.

There were 300 built in the first production run, late \'92. Another 150 built in \'95 with slight revisions. Then another 175 built in the last production run, the mica pearl white models with the red recaros.

Anyone know where I can get hold of the knee support and passenger footrest as I have the RZ floor mats and the passenger mat is shorter to accomadate the aluminum footrest.

££ ava for anyone willing to part!:D

Also going by   this page (http://www.rx7.net.nz/fd-jp-models.html)  it does confirm what I thought that only the early and late models were proper limited edition ones.  There are definatley less RZs than other models though. :D

Don\'t know where you will be able to get the passenger footrest mate, but on the rz\'s the floorpan is different to accomadate it.
