Cool spidey sleeve. I was thinking of getting a comic book sleeve ages ago. It was going to be the bulk as I have some of the comics or the avengers. Not got enough spare time to get inked at the moment. :(

Get some cuff links tattoo\'d on you wrist Keith and walk around with your top off, when everyone says "aren\'t you cold?" you can say " no
I\'m just wearing the worlds first invisible shirt" and show them
The cuff links as proof.

Yep ya can prolly see the line around the edge that\'s all going to be a hole with mechanical stuff in and the dragon will look like its comig out of it.
Title: Tattoo
Post by: Grant Monkhouse on December 10, 2012, 02:02:49 PM
Yes I can see it. Love the mechanical stuff don\'t you? ;) when do you think you will stop with the ink? Or a you going for the full suit?

Here\'s the start of mine, free hand tattoo, drawn onto me first with markers, 30mins, then 2 hours of tattooing. Should of been 3 hours total but it started hurting lots as he was going over the same areas touching up.

Have got blue going around the edges on the waves, this part is probably 90-95% complete but only constitutes 25-35% of the whole lot.

So happy with it and the speed he has done it.

Pic time from my iPhone (http://i1215.photobucket.com/albums/cc507/grantmonkhouse/6D5A6978-1124-4BEF-8B92-21E0F391BDBA-23176-0000067927D87985.jpg)

My artist said black and grey as he can do it faster and holds clearer for longer. And the blue waves I am getting around the feature will make the black and grey stand out.

Try and find a tattooist that will do a dragon that isn\'t a oriental dragon. Guy I went to had to go full freehand
Title: Tattoo
Post by: Grant Monkhouse on January 19, 2013, 05:05:04 PM
All of mine will be free hand. If its not traditional style it won\'t match the koi, that\'s what I like, always have. Have told him its got to look aggressive

pics as promised, full free hand due to my unique taste, i wanted a typicaly british dragon with a oriental dragons head. guy prefers to work free hand on backs anyway due to unique contours of the body,

some bits are still fresh hence darker

I did get some ink at Mad Tatters in Wellingborough. I like them at Facebook. Seen few of their work, they are good too...
